The Industrial Sewing and Innovation Center in Detroit (ISAIC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit institute teaching apparel and textile manufacturing while working toward sustainable and profitable domestic manufacturing. Its goal is to help people trained in advanced and emerging manufacturing technologies find roles at the forefront of sustainable soft goods production. By piloting new solutions while training people into advanced jobs, ISAIC attempts to help speed up the adoption of ethical, sustainable manufacturing. It is the only training center in the nation with a nationally recognized proprietary curriculum in industrial sewing and production.
