Empower My Future is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underserved populations in the metro Detroit area. Through its digital upskilling program, the organization, founded in 2009 in Detroit, provides training and resources to seniors, returning citizens, and low-income individuals. Overall, it bridges the digital divide and enhances participant’s technological skills for the future. In turn, Empower My Future’s professional development mentoring equips youth and adults with the tools and guidance needed to succeed in their careers. Additionally, it addresses food insecurity by offering support and resources to ensure access to nutritious food for families in need. Its goals are to increasingly empower, enrich, enlighten, engage, educate, and enhance citizens to better the community.
