Detroit Cristo Rey 2023 Gala – Caring for Creation

Detroit Cristo Rey High School hosted its 2023 Gala – Caring for Creation fundraiser on May 19 at the Masonic Temple in Detroit. Event sponsors included Ideal Group, DTE Foundation, Strategic Staffing Solutions, Stifel Financial Advisors, DMW, Plastipak, Walbridge, Alliance Catholic Credit Union, HRPro, BenePro, Comerica Bank, Community Financial, Fifth Third Bank, General Motors Co., Hylant, Joe Luther, Magna, Joan and Jim Tobin, and DBusiness, and Hour Detroit magazines. The keynote speaker was Marcela Escobar-Alava, deputy director of technology at the White House and special assistant to President Joe Biden.
