Consulate of Italy in Detroit National Day 2022

The Consulate of Italy in Detroit, located in the Renaissance Center in Detroit, hosted Italian National Day 2022 to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Republic of Italy on Thursday, June 2, at the Detroit City Airport. Attendees celebrated the United States and Italy’s shared heritage and values including freedom, democracy, rule of law, and our flourishing cultural ties. The event featured vintage Italian cars, the reveal of ASX’s Sigma-6 Electric Vertical and Takeoff Landing (eVTOL) Aircraft, and Italian food stations from Cafe Cortina, Nino Salvaggio’s, Roman Village, SheWolf, Bacco Ristorante, Grey Ghost, and more. // Photographs by Christine MJ Hathaway
