Michigan Founders Fund, The Song Foundation, Ashley M. Williams, and Johnnie and Alexa Turnage hosted Changing the Narrative: Celebrating Black Founders & Inspiring the Future of Black Entrepreneurship in Michigan on Thursday, Feb. 23, at Centric Place in Farmington Hills. The event celebrated Black founders and investors across Michigan and provided an opportunity for them to share their success stories, challenges, and recommendations for how Michigan’s startup ecosystem can provide equal access to capital and opportunities moving forward.
