The Camp Talahi Nature and Retreat Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering summer camps and retreats for all ages at the Chenango Lake Retreat in Howell. Organizers envision a world where youth can safely explore their spirituality, build community, and develop a strong moral identity to guide them through life’s journey. The 164-acre center offers six weeks of residential camps for kids grade K-12, plus a special session of camp for transgender children in grades 6-12. It doesn’t turn down children due to a lack of funds. Camp Talahi fosters a supportive community where all can embrace their authentic selves and connect with nature.
