Blessing Bags Brigade of Michigan is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in New Baltimore. It got its start when Sharon and Gregg Monbleau began assembling hygiene bags and distributing them alongside C4’s urban outreach program in Detroit’s Cass Corridor in the fall of 2015. Now the organization has broadened its scope and distributes “Essential Bags” that include hygiene bags, children’s bags (birthday bags for children in homeless shelters, and comfort bags for children in foster care), as well as senior bags (activity bags for homebound senior citizens).
