Robert B. Aikens and Associates, owner of The Village of Rochester Hills outdoor lifestyle shopping center, has announced that this fall, Athleta will have a store located in the shopping center, located at the corner of Adams and Walton roads, in Rochester Hills.

Athleta is a so-called athleisure brand created in 1998 with the goal of providing products designed to meet the unique needs of athletic women.

Part of San Francisco based Gap Inc., Athleta will join its sister brand Banana Republic, as well as a variety of other stores, including Aerie, American Eagle, Evereve, Dry Goods, Lululemon, Sephora and Von Maur, and fitness studios YogaSix, and [solidcore] at The Village.

The new Athleta store will offer fashions “from the gym to the streets” for mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends. Athleta will feature more than 200 styles and offers inclusive sizing, from XXS to 3X, along with Athleta Girl, featuring girls activewear.

The store will provide in-store styling appointments, free alterations, and wellness focused community events.

In addition to the opening of Athleta this fall, the shopping center also will add the locally owned Beautiphi Aesthetic Boutique, which will be relocating to a 3,045-square-foot space at The Village, doubling their current store size.

Beautiphi was founded by Kelly Hermans, a nationally recognized aesthetic injector and certified registered nurse anesthetist who specializes in modern treatments, nonsurgical facial procedures, and body rejuvenation.

Hermans founded Beautiphi Academy, the national training academy, in which she teaches and mentors other certified registered nurse anesthetists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and physicians from across the country.

Hermans plans to use some of the additional square footage to help with her training programs, along with more treatment rooms to offer enhanced procedures for treating patients.
