Alliance Franchise Brands, a Plymouth Township-based business-to-business marketing, print, and graphic communications company, has acquired the Richmond Hill, Ontario-based franchise organization KKP Canada, which offers design, print, and marketing services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition, which adds 50 franchise locations to Alliance, triples the Canadian presence of Alliance Franchise Brands.

“Our franchise members have been serving their markets in Canada for over 30 years,” says Kevin Cushing, president of the Marketing and Print Division of Alliance. “We have our own corporate-owned location in Windsor, Ontario, and 25 franchised locations across the country prior to having KKP Canada join our network. We believe this move will support greater resource deployment for the success of all of our members and better partnership opportunities with Canadian suppliers.”

Gigi Harding, CEO and vice-chair of KKP Canada, will remain active in KKP Canada through the transition as a key advisor.

KKP Canada will also retain its offices in premises leased in Ontario.

Through its subsidiaries, Alliance Franchise Brands’ 630 franchise members in North America and the U.K. provide businesses and organizations with resources for their graphic communication needs.

Along with KKP Canada, the company’s Marketing and Print Division includes the Allegra, American Speedy Printing, Insty-Prints, Speedy Printing, and Zippy Print brands. Its Sign and Graphics division includes the Image360, Signs By Tomorrow, and Signs Now brands. Corporate Operations Division for the company includes Allegra locations in Plymouth, Clawson, Troy, and Windsor.
