Jeep began its Convoy campaign in December with the Gladiator Shadow Ops special edition, and now expands to a second vehicle, the Gladiator Whitecap.

The Whitecap is a heritage-inspired special edition Gladiator with a two-tone blue-and-white livery designed to stand out. Jeep has a long history of two-tone vehicles with impressive off-road capability, and the new Whitecap looks to honor that heritage.

“As the second mission in our Convoy campaign, the Jeep Gladiator Whitecap acknowledges where we’ve been it offers a clear nod to Jeep heritage, rooted in 1941 and built for today’s adventurers who value authenticity, individuality and real capability,” says Bob Broderdorf, CEO of Jeep CEO.

“We continue to listen to our customers, and their feedback is guiding us toward offering more colors, more customization and more flexibility across the lineup.”

The Convoy campaign jump starts a new chapter for the brand, rolling out “mission-ready” special editions that “embody strength, unity, and purpose.” The Jeep Gladiator Shadow Ops was the first of the group. It focused on a military look, while the Whitecap leans in a different direction.

That starts with the exterior and the bright white roof, seven-slot grille, 1941 side stripe decal and hood decal balanced against a royal blue-type color for the rest of the body. It basically looks like it belongs on a snow-covered mountain.

Despite its new look, it retains the Gladiator’s capabilities, including a 7,700-pound towing capacity, a 5-foot steel bed, easy-lift tailgate and, if you want it: a removeable roof and doors, which aren’t available on any other pickup.

The Whitecap package is a $995 add-on for Sahara, Rubicon X, and Mojave X Gladiator models, and it rises to $1,495 for Rubicon and Mojave versions of the truck.
