Ahead of its formal debut at the New York International Auto Show later this week, GMC today unveiled the 2017 Terrain Nightfall Edition, with black exterior details, wheels, mirrors, and other components. The vehicle goes on sale in the fall.

The Nightfall Edition offers 18-inch aluminum wheels, a charcoal grill with a black surround and accents, black front and rear fascia accents, black outside mirrors, and black luggage rails. The features will be offered on SLE-2 and SLT models with exterior color options including white, black, metallic gray, and metallic red.

“Terrain continues to attract new and style-conscious customers to GMC,” says Duncan Aldred, vice president of sales and marketing at GMC. “The new Terrain Nightfall Edition adds another great-looking and well-equipped choice for this popular SUV — one that will stand out in a crowd.”

Aldred says the vehicle comes with GMC IntelliLink, the brand’s infotainment system with a seven-inch diagonal color touchscreen, along with available 4G LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi hotspot.

He says the 2017 Terrain Nightfall Edition joins other GMC special edition vehicles including the Canyon Nightfall Edition and the Sierra All Terrain X, with a monochromatic appearance and enhanced off-road capabilities.

The 2016 Terrain offers room for five, a 2.4-liter engine, and a rear-vision camera. The 2016 Terrain retails starting at $23,975.
