Promptus, a health care technology innovation platform focused on accelerating the commercialization of promising medical technologies, has appointed Dr. Tejpaul S. Pannu as chair of its Physician Advisory Network (PAN).
A practicing neurosurgeon based in Dearborn, Pannu brings clinical experience and longstanding ties to southeast Michigan’s medical community to the role. He completed his residency in neurological surgery at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, where he developed his clinical expertise in complex spine disorders, spinal injuries, and conditions of the brain.
The appointment strengthens Promptus’ commitment to incorporating practicing physician perspectives into the development and commercialization of emerging healthcare technologies.

The Physician Advisory Network was established by Promptus to create a structured channel for practicing physicians to contribute to the evaluation and development of emerging healthcare technologies.
Members of the network are expected to provide clinical perspective on technologies under consideration by Promptus, helping the organization better understand unmet needs, potential applications, development considerations, and the realities of clinical adoption.
As chair, Pannu will help establish the network’s direction and strengthen its connection to the broader physician community.
“Too many promising healthcare technologies are developed without enough input from the people who understand the clinical problem firsthand,” says Pannu. “I joined Promptus because of its focus on addressing that gap and creating a more deliberate connection between innovation and the physicians who understand what patients and clinical teams actually need.
