Alpine Power Systems, a business-to-business solution provider specializing in critical power, telecom, cable, and motive power solutions headquartered in Detroit, announced it has doubled the size of its Columbus, Ohio and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. facilities to support its growth.
“The state of Ohio is an important part of our overall growth strategy. We have been operating here for over 25 years and are excited for the future,” says Sean Davis, executive vice president of sales at Alpine.
“This investment will allow us to continue to serve our customer base and capture additional market share.”
Alpine Power Systems has been in the Columbus market since 1995. More recently, Alpine added a facility in the Fort Lauderdale area in 2016, in addition to their decades-long presence in Orlando, Fla.
“Considering we have only been operating in the marketplace for a little over 6 years, it’s very exciting to require an expansion of this magnitude to our Fort Lauderdale facility,” says Jon Centella, vice president of critical power sales at Alpine. “Our growth is a testament to our team’s focus on critical markets such as telecom, cable, and utilities. It goes without saying, we are looking forward to what the future holds within the South Florida Region.”
Alpine offers a variety of power services including turn-key installations, warehousing, testing, upgrades, as well as full site and equipment maintenance for the telecom industry. It provides flooded and sealed batteries for a variety of motive power applications including forklifts, power jacks, aerial lifts, lift trucks, automated guided vehicles, and electric personnel carriers.
Alpine provides complete global support for backup power solutions. With experience in design, installation, maintenance, service, and testing of UPS, battery, generator, DC power, and other systems, it ensures backup systems are ready when they are needed.
It also offers customized power solutions for cable, broadband, and data networks across the country.
