Chelsea’s Lloyd Bridges Traveland Purchased by Camping World

Camping World Holdings Inc., a leading recreational vehicle (RV) and related products dealer based in Lincolnshire, Ill., announced it has acquired Lloyd Bridges Traveland RV dealerships in Chelsea. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We continue to pursue dealership acquisitions to expand our market share and we are excited to expand in Michigan, which has great RV demographics,” says Marcus Lemonis, CEO and chairman of Camping World Holdings.

“We are honored to add an iconic family brand that has been providing exceptional customer service to RVers for over 55 years. The Lloyd Bridges acquisition strengthens our footprint and allows us to more effectively service our RV and outdoor customer base.”

Lloyd Bridges Traveland has two Michigan locations in the greater Ann Arbor market, with access to both off Interstate-94. The east facility is located at 12721 E. Old US Highway 12, while the west location is located at 1603 S. Main St. Both will transition to the Camping World brand.

The locations and the company’s eighth and ninth locations in the state, with more in the planning phase. The supercenters will include a range of new and used RVs from top manufacturers in addition to a full selection of RV and outdoor products and accessories.
