Art Deco Society Turkel House Event 2026

The Detroit Area Art Deco Society hosted an evening of architecture, music, and design at The Turkel House in Detroit, the city’s only home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Guests of homeowners Norm Silk and Dale Morgan enjoyed a selection of hors d’oeuvres, hand-selected wines and beverages, and a silent auction. The Ben Dannug Trio and DJ Christian Morgan provided the entertainment in the home’s music room with 15-foot ceilings, pierced concrete blocks set with glass, polished concrete floors, and restored Philippine mahogany built-ins.
