General Sports Worldwide based in Rochester announced Travis Apple has joined the firm in the newly created position of vice president of executive search and team consulting, reporting to managing director Lou DePaoli.
In his new role, Apple will be responsible for recruiting front office executive talent internationally and consulting with sports teams and leagues to improve business operations, including sales and leadership training.

Prior to his most recent position as CRO for Event Dynamic, Apple served in various leadership roles with the Miami Marlins, the NBA League Office in team marketing and business operations, Phoenix Suns, Orlando Magic, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Atlanta Spirit (Atlanta Hawks [NBA]), Atlanta Thrashers (NHL), and State Farm Arena.
