Michael Reinerth has been named vice president and human resources officer at Sparrow, a Lansing-based hospital.
Previously, Reinerth worked for more than 30 years with General Motors in a variety of HR positions and has experience in all HR functions.
He will be responsible for recruiting and hiring, training, development, caregiver relations and creating high-performing teams.
Reinerth, of Lansing, received his bachelor’s in business administration and his master’s in labor and industrial relations from Michigan State University.
