Drew Miller, retired Detroit Red Wings player, joined Southfield-based Korotkin Insurance Group in September. He serves as an agent offering insurance solutions for business owners and individuals.

Since retiring from playing professional hockey in 2018, Miller has worked as a licensed property and casualty insurance agent offering personal and commercial lines products.

“We are thrilled to welcome Drew to our team. He is a man of great character, drive, and ambition,” says Jeffrey Belen, president of KIG. “We respect his vision and look forward to growing our business together.”

Miller attended and played for Michigan State University prior to joining the National Hockey League. He has played for the Anaheim Ducks, Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Detroit Red Wings.

“KIG has an amazing history, great family values, and a team atmosphere that made joining this agency an easy decision. They exemplify the type of structure, process, and culture I was looking for,” says Miller. “I have always been a team player in my sports career, and now I am happy to be part of an agency that mutually shares my values and morals.”

Miller continues to work with the Detroit Red Wings Little Wings Learn to Play program, which helps children ages 5-8 skate and build character.

Korotkin Insurance Group offers commercial, personal, life, health, and disability insurance products. It was founded in 1913.
