DETROIT — The 10th annual Polish the Jewel Belle Isle Legacy Luncheon will take place this Sep. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The luncheon was first hosted in 2005 by the Belle Isle Women’s Committee, which is today part of the Conservancy.
This year’s luncheon will be held at the Belle Isle Casino and is expected to draw more than 400 Detroit area civic and business leaders, as well as prominent Belle Isle supporters, for an afternoon of networking in support of the Belle Isle Conservancy.
Continuing a time-honored tradition, guests of the luncheon are encouraged to dress in their best shoes and chapeaus and adorn themselves in their favorite jewels for the luncheon, which will also feature a silent auction. The 10th anniversary fundraiser is co-chaired by conservancy board members and l Joyce Hayes Giles, Judy Jonna, and Alicia Masse.
Patron seating – at $150 per person – is available online at belleisleconservancy.org or by phone at 313-331-7760. Benefactor tickets, full-table seating, and corporate sponsorships are also available.
