Niterra North America Inc., a global manufacturer of spark plugs and oxygen sensors in Wixom, announced the appointment of Bill Provenzano as general manager of finance and corporate controller.
In his new role, Provenzano will oversee the company’s financial operations, corporate accounting, internal controls, and reporting functions. He will report directly to Ron Laboda, vice president of finance and IT.
Provenzano brings more than two decades of progressive financial leadership, global controlling, and auditing experience in the automotive and technology sectors. Prior to joining Niterra, he served as senior director of accounting operations at Lucid Motors, where he led operational transformation, reduced financial close timelines, and managed key accounting functions.
His background also includes executive finance and corporate controller roles at tier-one automotive leaders including Tenneco, Visteon Corp., and ZF TRW, as well as audit management experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
“Bill is a strategic and operationally minded finance leader with a proven track record of optimizing accounting processes, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and leading high-performing teams,” says Laboda. “His deep industry expertise in corporate control and financial reporting will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our financial organization and execute our long-term growth objectives.”
Throughout his career, Provenzano has spearheaded major initiatives in global policy alignment, system implementations, SEC compliance, and financial process automation across multi-billion-dollar organizations.

Provenzano holds a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Eastern Michigan University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
