WEST BLOOMFIELD — PRIME29 Steakhouse of West Bloomfield is set to open in late May at the corner of Maple and Orchard Lake roads. The restaurant will offer steaks, seafood, and fine wines.

“Our mission is to provide exceptional cuisine and personal service that embraces guests in metro Detroit as Prime-Diners,” says owner and operator Dave Duey.

Duey’s has a history in the restaurant industry, most recently having helped re-launch the popular Joe Muer’s Seafood in Detroit. Duey’s resume also includes nearly a decade of operating the historic Fox & Hounds Restaurant in Bloomfield Hills. He spent 15 years with the Chuck Muer group of restaurants and opened Bloomfield Charley’s whose location is ironically across the street from the new PRIME29. Duey also worked with Epoch Restaurant Group, running Tribute in Farmington Hills and Forte in Birmingham.

PRIME29 will feature natural prime beef; specially aged 29-days; with all of the great classic cuts, such as Bone In Ribeye, New York Strip Steak and Filet Mignon; along with a  great selection of fresh fish flown in daily from Hawaii, East Coast Shellfish, and an extensive collection of global wines.

PRIME29 Steakhouse is located at 6545 Orchard Lake Rd. and will be open from 4 p.m.-midnight, seven days a week. For more information, visit prime29steakhouse.com.
