The Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan in Bingham Farms announced its CEO Michael Stoskopf will retire and be replaced by Forrest M. Wall.

“Being the CEO of this remarkable association has truly been the highlight of my career. However, over the past year, several personal experiences have given me a different perspective and appreciation for life, especially with respect to family, priorities and time. After prayerful and careful consideration, I am announcing my intent to retire from the HBA,” says Stoskopf.

Wall previously held the role of director of regulatory and legal affairs for the HBA of Michigan and also has over 20 years of experience on the staff of HBA of Southeastern Michigan. Beginning in 1998, his role with HBA and the Apartment Association of Michigan (AAM) centered on the legislative, regulatory, legal, and educational arenas, concentrating on areas that impact HBA and AAM member businesses.

“It is with great pleasure that the HBA Executive Committee welcomes Forrest Wall as the new CEO of the HBA of Southeastern Michigan,” says Ben Templeton of Templeton Building and the HBA’s 2021-2022 president. “We are pleased that Michael will continue in an advisory capacity until early May.”
