DETROIT — Metro-West Appraisal Co. LLC, a national independent staff appraisal firm, announced today that it is moving its headquarters into downtown Detroit’s Central Business District.
Metro-West will occupy 8,000 square feet in the Chrysler House (the former Dime Building), a 23-story office tower owned by Rock Ventures.
The firm will move a team of 40 staff members from its current location in Northville to the new headquarters in early March. Additionally, Metro-West has plans to hire another 35 Detroit-based employees following the move.
“We’re thrilled to move to downtown Detroit and take part in the city’s commercial rebirth,” said Brandon Boudreau, COO, Metro-West Appraisal. “This will be a great boost for the morale of our entire staff, and we look forward to exploring everything that the city has to offer for the growing number of people working there.”
Founded in 1987, Metro-West is the largest staff appraisal firm in the nation that is not affiliated with an AMC or a lender. Metro-West has more than 150 staff appraisers in over 45 metropolitan markets across 22 states, with continuous nationwide expansion planned.
