David Tucker, chief engineer at Auburn Hills-based Magna Electronics, has become a member of Vistage Michigan, an affiliate of the world’s leading chief executive organization, Vistage International.

Vistage Michigan provides business leaders with access to new business perspectives, innovative strategies and actionable items.

Tucker is responsible for leading the chief engineering organization in supporting product development teams to increase efficiencies. Tucker has held several roles at Magna prior to his current position, including director, North American Applications Engineering and chief engineer, Electronic Components.

Before joining Magna, Tucker spent more than 30 years in engineering and leadership positions in aerospace, weapons systems and the automotive electronics industry.

Tucker, of Waterford, holds a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Purdue University and a master’s in management of engineering technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic University in New York
