NGK Spark Plugs USA Inc., an ignition and sensor specialist in Wixom, announced Jeffrey Schlenker has joined the company as general manager of purchasing.
“I am pleased to announce that Jeffrey Schlenker has accepted the position of general manager,” says Clair Stewart, vice president of supply chain management at NGK. “Jeffrey joins us with extensive experience creating strategies and roadmaps to align with corporate objectives and ensure cost savings are met. We are excited to have someone of his caliber join the NGK team.”
In this role, Schlenker will serve as a leadership team member and be responsible for the efficacy of all sourcing activities across the organization.

Schlenker earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. He has more than 20 years of experience in purchasing, holding positions of increasing responsibility.
