Hunter Pasteur, a developer in Farmington Hills, has named Omar Eid as a partner. Eid first joined HP in 2021 as development manager and has served as vice president of development since July of 2023.

After spending more than six years in New York City working for a private real estate developer specializing in commercial development in midtown Manhattan, Eid moved home to Michigan and joined HP. Eid has handled planning, entitlements, design, and operations for HP’s multifamily portfolio.
He currently co-manages entitlement and development efforts for the Northville Downs development, a 48-acre planned unit development that recently broke ground on the former site of the Northville Downs Racetrack. That project is a co-development between Toll Brothers and Hunter Pasteur and its joint-venture partners in The Forbes Co. and Soave Real Estate.
In addition to the Northville Downs project, Eid also is leading design and development efforts on Hunter Pasteur’s first out-of-state development in Miami’s Design District, which will be a high-end mixed-use development with DACRA and L Catterton. Eid also is overseeing pre-leasing and operational strategy at The Apex in West Bloomfield (set to open later this summer) and Perennial Corktown apartments in Detroit, which opened in December of 2023.
