Holiday Pop-up Market CityLoft Returns to Downtown Detroit

DETROIT — Just in time for the holidays, the Somerset Collection CityLoft pop-up market returns today to downtown Detroit at a new location inside the First National Building near Campus Martius.

Throughout the holiday season, nearly 40 retailers including Pottery Barn, Lilly Pulitzer, Gap, The Body Shop, and LEGO will offer gifts for sale. During their visit, guests can also enjoy live entertainment with DJs, carolers, and other acts.

In the spirit of the holidays, 25 designer snowmen are on display in a 30-by-18-foot, igloo-shaped structure in Cadillac Square.

Somerset Collection retailers have also donated merchandise for Santa’s Wonderland — a “kids only” shop where, for a $5 donation, children can purchase items for family and friends. Proceeds from Santa’s Wonderland will go to benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

The event is coordinated through a partnership with Bedrock Real Estate and is part of the Quicken Loans 2014 Season of Winter Magic.

Somerset CityLoft is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, now through Dec. 23.
