ITC Holdings Corp. in Novi has announced the appointment of Debora Frodl to its board of directors.
Previously serving for 28 years as global executive director of ecomagination at General Electric, Frodl now serves as founder of DF Strategies, a strategic consultancy firm in Minneapolis.

Frodl has a background in both renewable and clean energy solutions. She’s served as General Electric’s chief strategy officer and also led ecomagination for the company, a global business strategy to accelerate technology innovation and drive cleaner energy solutions, as global alternative fuels leader to the global executive director. She has also led executive leadership programs for women and diversity initiatives at GE and within the community.
Frodl earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas, as well as a bachelor’s degree in business from Minnesota State University. She also serves as an adviser or board member to several renewable energy organizations, including the U.S. Department of Energy Clean Energy, Education, and Empowerment Initiative; University of Minnesota Institute on The Environment; National Renewable Energy Lab; Joint Institute Strategy Energy Analysis; XL Hybrids; and Renewable Energy Group Inc.
She joins 11 other board members.
