DETROIT — Local professionals are invited to join CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Detroit for its exclusive October program Hard Hats and Heels on Oct. 29 to tour and learn more about a major redevelopment project in Detroit’s Capitol Park.
The $80 million project involves the renovation and transformation of three vacant buildings that made up the former United Way of Southeast Michigan offices on Griswold in the Capitol Park district of Detroit. Developer Karp & Associates will give an overview of the project and discuss commercial tenants that have been secured, proposed residential spaces and public areas. After the presentation, attendees will be invited on a brief tour of the spaces being transformed.
The program takes place at 1212 Griswold in downtown Detroit. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the presentation at 6 p.m. and the tour at 6:45 p.m. Networking takes place from 7-8 p.m. The cost to attend is $50 for CREW members and $65 for nonmembers.
