Advance Plumbing & Heating Supply Co. in Walled Lake has appointed Ken Mecum as its new director of outside sales.
In this leadership role, Mecum will oversee the company’s outside sales strategy, strengthen customer relationships across Michigan, and support continued growth initiatives.
Mecum brings decades of industry experience and a track record of accelerating growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and leading successful sales organizations. Most recently, as senior account manager for ThermalNetics, he worked closely with schools, building owners, and facility professionals throughout the commercial and industrial sectors to support HVAC repair and replacement initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he served as managing director of retail sales for HA Sun Heating & Cooling, where he successfully expanded the company’s residential and light commercial footprint while driving operational performance and profitability.
As director of outside sales, Mecum is expected to focus on expanding market opportunities, supporting field sales initiatives, and ensuring customers continue to receive the exceptional service and expertise that have become hallmarks of the Advance Plumbing brand.
