To improve driver safety, Neumo Corp. was founded in Birmingham by Niall Berkery and Peter Freer in 2024 to deliver deep driver insights through a contactless sensor embedded in car seat headrests.

Unlike camera-only systems that rely on observable behavior, Neumo taps into the brain’s electrical signals to detect fatigue before they become visible — enabling more accurate detection minutes earlier than a camera.
