Monarch Coaching Co. in Sterling Heights was formed in 2022 by Erika Rivera Jaramillo and Taylor Miller-Goulait to help leadership teams improve clarity, emotional intelligence, and elevate their confidence and impact.
The company’s Monarch Leadership Program, which consists of virtual leadership training and personalized coaching, is designed to create real change by building trust, alignment, and measurable results at every level of a client organization.

“This program integrates self-paced online courses, with virtual one-on-one and group coaching sessions, creating a dynamic learning experience that reinforces key concepts while fostering collaboration and camaraderie among leaders,” says Jaramillo, a co-founder.
“We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, we partner with companies to deeply understand their company’s values, vision, and goals. This allows us to align our coaching with their unique culture, streamline their leadership language, and empower their leaders to consistently model and reinforce the culture they want to see across the organization.”
After working with Monarch Coaching, the co-founders say company leaders walk away with clearer communication, stronger trust and team dynamics, and the tools to lead through change and uncertainty.
“As a women and minority owned business, we believe in the power of accessibility,” says Miller-Goulait, the other co-founder. “We plan to offer our Monarch Leadership Program fully in Spanish within the next six months, as well as have our online courses available in several different languages. We are also expanding our offerings in the next 12 months to include women-focused leadership retreats, to provide female leaders with a safe space to develop their authentic leadership style.”
