Variety the Children’s Charity’s 34th Annual Golf Classic
The 34th annual Variety Kovan Golf Classic, played on Monday, June 12, at Knollwood Country Club in West Bloomfield Township, was hosted by Variety the Children’s Charity. The organization was founded in 1932 and provides support and essential services to children with unique and special needs. It is a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity. The outing featured morning and afternoon golf rounds with a cart, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, beverages, and a silent auction. All the money raised goes toward funds for children with physical and cognitive challenges. Funds raised benefit the Dr. Bradley S. Kovan Memorial Fund at Friendship Circle, the Jonathan Scott Kovan Memorial Fund at University of Michigan C.S.
