St. John Hospital Guild Strolling Dinner 2026

The St. John Hospital Guild hosted its 64th Dinner on May 7 at The War Memorial in Grosse Pointe Farms. This year’s event honored five members of the St. John community — Dr. Richard Berri, who was presented with the Physician of the Year Award, along with other awards for Denise Allen, Paul Treder, and the Elizabeth, Allan, and Warren Shelden Foundation. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund a state-of-the-art radiation protection system for the hospital’s Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Since 1948, the nonprofit organization has raised more than $15 million to provide medical equipment, technology, and services to Ascension St. John Hospital (now Henry Ford St. John Hospital). // Photos by Christine M.J.
