Happy Paws Haven in Royal Oak was established in 2021 to promote and provide care, comfort, and compassion to animals in need through fostering, adoption, spay/neuter, education, and community outreach. Happy Paws Haven is a no-kill foster-based animal rescue operating throughout metro Detroit. It rescues homeless animals, offers TNVR services, operates a pet pantry, and sponsors training to keep adopted dogs in homes. All animals in its care are vet checked, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. The organization is committed to saving last-call/code-red animals off euthanasia lists, re-homing owner-surrenders, and working with shelters in overpopulated areas.
