It’s a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Johnson Nature Center in Bloomfield Township, with membership open to everyone. Today, Friends supports the center through its renewed vision — to create a place where all people experience a connection with nature in a healthy, native Michigan ecosystem and are inspired to care for the planet with respect. The organization advances the Johnson Nature Center’s mission through ecological conservation, community outreach, volunteerism, and fundraising.
