Distinguished Warriors Dinner 2022

The Urban League of Detroit and Southeastern Michigan hosted its 43rd annual Distinguished Warriors Dinner on Thursday, March 31, at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. The event celebrated the Urban League’s 106 years of service in metro Detroit. Hon. Dennis W. Archer Sr., Edith Lee Payne, Gary Torgow, the late Hon. Benny N. Napoleon, and Hon. Alma G. Stallworth were the 2022 honorees. Proceeds from the event support the Urban League’s mission to improve the lives of African Americans, helping more than 60,000 clients annually through 20-plus specialized programs.
