Detroit Jazz Festival 2023

The 2023 Detroit Jazz Festival took place in Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit Sept. 1-4. While the festival is free, those who enjoyed VIP Hospitality passes were able to access the festival’s VIP hospitality area and reserved seating located in Hart Plaza near the Promenade and Lincoln Gardens area. The Opening Night VIP Party Presented by KIA started at 5 p.m. on Sept. 1., with money from tickets going to support the festival. The Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation produces the Detroit Jazz Festival, which is the largest free jazz festival in the world.
