Detroit Historical Society 2024 Salute to the Legends VIP Ball

The Detroit Historical Society hosted the 2024 Salute to the Legends VIP Ball on Saturday, May 11, at the Detroit Historical Museum in Midtown Detroit. The event was co-chaired by Margery Krevsky-Dosey, Leslye Rosenbaum, Linda Schlesinger-Wagner, and Lois Shaevsky. This year’s honorees were Greg Kelser, sports broadcaster and former MSU and Pistons player; Huel Perkins, former Detroit television anchor; and Mickey Redmond, former NHL player and current Red Wings announcer. In addition, the Kresge Foundation was given the 2024 Moving Forward award. The event featured a strolling dinner, craft coktails, and a ceremony unveiling the honorees’ signatures and handprints in cement at the museum’s Legends Plaza. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
