2023 DSMA Charity Golf Scramble
The 36th Detroit Sports Media Association (DSMA) Charity Golf Scramble was played at the Cherry Creek Golf Club in Shelby Township on July 10. The event raises money for the DSMA’s charity fund with the money going to support area students and community programs. The event featured food, celebrities, gifts, raffles, prizes, and 18 holes of golf. Overall, the DSMA has generated more than $500,000 in gross revenue for scholarships, broadcasting program grants for Michigan high schools, and charitable contributions for meaningful causes like the Michigan Athletes with Disabilities Hall of Fame, Gleaners Food Bank, Set Sail for Autism, and the Detroit Lions Academy. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
