Veteran restaurateurs Sunny Palaj and Benny Cukaj have purchased the Wixom Station restaurant in Wixom and are giving it a new look and feel.
The restaurant, which originally opened in 2014, was acquired by the duo three months ago. Palaj is the owner of Alfoccino’s on Opdyke Road in Auburn Hills and has 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Cukaj also has experience in the industry and owns The Hideout Bar & Grill in Clawson.
“I want to bring some of the Alfoccino charm and elegance to Wixom Station, yet still keep the casual atmosphere,” says Palaj of the restaurant’s nostalgic train station/lodge-type feeling. “We will continue to offer a high-quality diverse menu that will feature great dishes like homemade lasagna, lobster ravioli, unique pizzas, and one of the best burgers in town. Customers will also enjoy a fully stocked bar with outstanding wine choices and weekday happy hour specials.”
In addition, Wixom city workers, officials, police, fire, and other city employees always receive a 20 percent discount. The existing loyalty/rewards program currently in place will continue and customers can sign up at wixomstation.com.
