Tropolis Insurance Services in Ann Arbor today announced the completion of eight agency acquisitions in Michigan, Texas, and Louisiana. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
“We are thrilled to welcome these agencies into the Tropolis family,” says Jeff Mason, co-founder and CEO of Tropolis.
“Together, these acquisitions expand our reach across the upper Midwest, Texas, and Louisiana, strengthen our capabilities in commercial lines and health insurance, and further our position as a trusted leader in the industry. Each of these agencies shares our vision and values of integrity, ownership, leadership, and service.”
The newly acquired agencies in Michigan include:
Warrendale Insurance Agency in Livonia — Led by Barb Kunina, Warrendale provides multiline property and casualty services with particular expertise in specialized markets.
U.P. Insurance Agency in Iron Mountain — Todd Lysinger and his team provide commercial and health insurance solutions to businesses across the upper Midwest.
Entrust Insurance and Financial Services in St. Clair Shores — Led by Dan LaLiberte, Entrust specializes in high-net-worth personal lines expertise and dedicated client service.
Canopy Insurance Group in Birmingham — Janell Evans-Olsey and Joseph Simon lead this regional specialist focused on national large commercial accounts.
Acquired agencies in Texas include:
Infiniti Insurance Services in Spring — Hazel Moreno leads an agency specializing in larger commercial accounts.
King Phillips Insurance in Houston — Troy White and his team provide comprehensive insurance solutions to middle-market commercial clients.
In Louisiana, the acquired agencies are:
Beasley Keith Insurance in Bossier City — Specializing in middle-market commercial accounts in the Houston region, the agency is led by Gail Rinchuso.
Safe Harbor Insurance in Bossier City — Ashlin Strother leads a group of high-net-worth personal lines account managers and producers serving clients across Louisiana.
The acquisitions, according to officials, represent a “major step forward.” Each agency will operate under the Tropolis brand moving forward, strengthening the company’s ability to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions to businesses, families, and communities.
Central to Tropolis’ growth strategy, officials say, is the adoption of its proprietary Lead Nexus growth technology, powered by AI, which is designed to enable smarter client acquisition, predictive insights, and a seamless experience for customers and partners. By combining advanced technology with local expertise, Tropolis says it continues to redefine what it means to be a modern insurance brokerage.
