KSI Kitchen & Bath in Farmington Hills, the largest kitchen and bath design firm in Michigan, has acquired Riemer Floors in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan’s largest flooring retailer. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition positions KSI Kitchen & Bath as Michigan’s largest provider of kitchen and bath design, cabinetry, glass services, and flooring, the company states.

KSI Kitchen & Bath will now offer complementary flooring products and services for homeowners, builders, and multi-family developers as the company grows its portfolio of brands.

Riemer Floors has more than 75-year history providing and installing carpet, luxury vinyl tile, and hardwood flooring throughout southeast Michigan and has one of the largest flooring showrooms in the area.

“I’m incredibly proud of what our family and team members have accomplished over the years,” says Paul Riemer, president and owner of Riemer Floors. “This acquisition is a testament to our hard work and dedication. We’re excited to join forces with KSI Kitchen & Bath to take our vision to the next level and continue delivering value to our customers.”

The combined companies will pursue geographic expansion across KSI Kitchen & Bath’s 13 retail locations as well as provide contractors with a broader suite of products that should simplify the buying process and provide a single point of contact for multiple specialty interior building products.

By combining our organizations, we aim to deliver even greater value to our customers and strengthen our position as a leader in the building products industry.”
