C3 Industries, a cannabis producer and retailer, has opened its flagship High Profile boutique provisioning center in Ann Arbor, where the company is headquartered. The location is licensed for recreational and medical sales and is the second in a series of provisioning centers the company is expected to open in the state over the next two years.

The store will be the first in Michigan to carry a selection of cannabis products including flower, edibles, vaporizers, concentrates, topicals, and tinctures from C3’s cultivation and manufacturing facility in Webberville. It will also sell products from other providers.

“Ann Arbor has long been the epicenter of cannabis culture and activism in Michigan and the U.S. more broadly,” says CEO Ankur Rungta. “Now that we’ve received our adult-use license, we’re opening the doors of the Ann Arbor store just in time for St. Patrick’s Day and Hash Bash. We will provide patients and consumers with the highest-quality products and a premium retail experience.”

Located at 617 Packard St., the store is in the University of Michigan central campus area. A grand opening will take place March 14 and will include live music, door prizes, and other giveaways. The store will be open from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. every day.

The company was founded by Rungta, his brother Vishal Rungta, and Joel Ruggiero. It launched in Portland in 2017 and is slated to expand to Massachusetts and Missouri soon. For more information on C3, check out DBusiness November/December 2019 cover story.
