O’Keefe, a middle-market investment bank and financial advisory firm in Bloomfield Hills, has announced it advised Titan Trucking, a hauling and trucking company in Troy, during its recent merger with TraQiQ Inc., a diversified waste and recycle services company in Bellevue, Wash.

As part of the merger, TraQiQ will rebrand itself as Titan Environmental Solutions Inc. over the coming months, a name that represents its new focus in the waste services sector.

Titan Trucking currently offers a range of environmental services, including solid waste collection, recycling, and trucking to businesses located primarily in Michigan’s rapidly growing marketplace.

In addition to contributing a strong base of recurring revenue, Titan also brings a proven “C Suite” of industry veterans who will lead the combined company in its future growth initiatives and acquisition roll-up strategy.

Going forward, Glen Miller and Jeffrey Rizzo have assumed the positions of CEO and COO, respectively, of Titan. Miller has held leadership positions in a number of public and private waste management companies and has overseen multiple successful consolidation efforts in the industry.

“We are excited about joining TraQiQ and look forward to executing our plan to grow TraQiQ into a leading provider of environmental services through efforts in aggressive organic and profitable acquisitive, growth campaigns,” says Miller.

Titan recently acquired two trucking companies, Century Waste Management and WTI Global, two businesses focused in waste services in the Midwest during the fourth quarter of 2022.

“Our team is excited to become part of TraQiQ, and we look forward to using this scalable platform to leverage technology to provide cost-effective environmental solutions that the industry desperately needs.” says Rizzo.

Titan officials state the company will continue its acquisition efforts with a strong focus in the Midwest and Southeastern regions of the United States, led by O’Keefe.

“We were hired by Titan Trucking in mid-2022 as their buyside advisor,” says Marco Eadie, managing director of corporate finance at O’Keefe. “From there, we identified targets and negotiated letters of intent to acquire other waste-hauling businesses. We also helped raise funds for the acquisition targets, and during that process we advised Titan Trucking on the merger with TraQiQ.”

Titan Trucking is a hauling and trucking company specializing in the hauling of debris and roll off/rubber wheeled dumpsters. The company plans to vertically integrate waste management and commercial recycling services focusing on commercial and residential contracts nationally.
