Strategic Staffing Solutions (S3) in Detroit has signed a five-year extension of its sponsorship of The Parade Co’s annual Thanksgiving S3 Turkey Trot. Terms of the sponsorship were not disclosed.
In addition, this year’s S3 parade float, “Disco Dogs & Cool Cats,” will debut a design refresh created by Parade Co. artists. The nearly 180-foot-long float featuring the importance of pets and pet adoption, will add another member to the S3 pet family, with Kona the dog riding in the lead car.
“We are honored to continue our commitment to The Parade Co.,” says Cindy Pasky, founder, president, and CEO of Strategic Staffing Solutions. “From the excitement of the Turkey Trot to the magic of America’s Thanksgiving Parade, these moments create lasting memories, and they are among the most impactful ways we engage with the community. We’re proud to help keep these traditions strong for years to come.”
S3 has been the title sponsor of the S3 Turkey Trot since 2015, and last year 17,000 runners participated. This year marks the 44th S3 Turkey Trot. Registration opens May 1 at theparade.org.
“We couldn’t be prouder to continue our amazing partnership with Strategic Staffing Solutions,” says Tony Michaels, president and CEO of The Parade Co. “For over a decade, S3’s generosity to The Parade Co., the S3 Turkey Trot, and parade has helped to create magic in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day. Giving back is in their DNA, and we’re honored they are a part of our Parade Co. family.”
The 100th America’s Thanksgiving Parade presented by Gardner White will take place on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 26, down Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit.
