Robot Garage to Open Third Store in Grosse Pointe Park


The Robot Garage, a toy store that sells LEGOs, robots, and other engineering playthings, will open its third Michigan store in Grosse Pointe Park this summer.

The store will also offer summer camps that give children the chance to create a LEGO city, build a robot, create a LEGO dinosaur world, and use the computer game Minecraft. Camps cost $385 for non-members and $347 for members. The store also provides space for birthday parties.

The Robot Garage has finalized plans to build out a 4,500-square -foot space a 15201 Kercheval Ave., on the corner of Kercheval Avenue and Lakepointe Street

The Robot Garage also has locations in Birmingham and Rochester Hills.

The Grosse Pointe Park location will open in time for the store’s first summer camp in July. The store is interviewing for managing, teaching, and past assistant positions.
