Parade of Homes 2025, the 36th annual exhibition of new model homes located across southeastern Michigan, runs throughout June.

The Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan (HBA) and Lake Michigan Credit Union sponsor this free event. As part of the Parade of Homes program, architects and industry experts judge the homes and award blue ribbons in several categories.

The judges make their decisions based on a combination of factors, including innovation, aesthetic appeal, and value for the price.

Judges for this year’s program were Lonny S. Zimmerman of Siegal/Tuomaala Associates; Benedetto Tiseo of Tiseo Architects, Inc.; Michael J. Gordon of Moiseev/Gordon Associates; and Marty Peltier, chief business development officer of Lake Michigan Credit Union.

“Parade of Homes is a program to offer potential homebuyers a unique opportunity to see the area’s finest newly built homes,” says Forrest M. Wall, CEO of HBA. “The homes are available to view in person, based on the hours shown for each individual home and on the program’s website at www.ParadeHBA.com.”

The blue ribbon winning homes, based on price of model as shown, are:

— Under $425,000 – The Harbor in Monroe by Infinity Homes & Co.

— Over $425,000 to $525,000 – Lafayette in Detroit by Robertson Homes

— Over $525,000 to $575,000 – Brooklyn – D in Holly by M/I Homes

— Over $575,000 to $650,000 – Remington in South Lyon by Singh Homes

— Over $650,000 to $680 – Joshua in Commerce Township by Lifestyle Home Building

— Over $825,000 to $1,200,000 – Avalon in Commerce Township by Evergreen Homes

— Over $1,700,000 – The Laurel in Bruce Township by Vitale Real Estate & New Homes

Included in the Parade of Homes are condominiums and single-family homes, affordable housing, and estate-sized homes.

The program provides an opportunity to see the latest trends in energy efficiency and green building systems, architecture, interior design, amenities, and materials. The 32 model homes and condominiums have starter prices ranging from the mid-$200,000s to $2.5 million.

The homes are built by 15 different builders, all members of HBA. The Parade of Homes includes nine attached condominiums and one detached condominium. Four of the homes are under construction or pre-construction, so potential home buyers have the opportunity to work with the builder from the beginning of construction. Homes are located in 27 different communities.

The homes are featured in a free magazine available at Lake Michigan Credit Union branches in southeastern Michigan, and at each of the participating homes.

The Parade of Homes website features the Blue Ribbon winning homes and all the 2025 Parade of Homes models, including photos, features, pricing, location, and hours. It will be available for viewing for a full year.
