FCA has unveiled its newest package, the Ram 1500 Night Special, which will be available on the 2017 Ram line of trucks.

The package features blacked out wheels; badging on the door, grille, and tailgate; gloss black aluminum wheels; and black sidewall all-season tires.

“Truck enthusiasts want vehicles that define their personality and style,” says Mike Manley, head of Ram Brand at FCA. “The new Ram Night package builds upon the Ram Sport — one of the best looking trucks on the road — and adds black-out details that custom truck enthusiasts revere.”

He says the new truck will be available in different models including Regular Cab, Quad Cab, and Crew Cab 1500 sports models, in both two- and four- wheel drive, short and long bed lengths, and will be equipped with 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 or 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engines.

Available upgrades for the 1500 Night include a lighted and lockable RamBox cargo management system, sport performance hood and back running boards, performance options from Mopar’s line of parts, and link coil suspension.

The interior will feature high-black, heated cloth bucket seats, power adjustment pedals, and automatic temperature control with dual-zone climate.

The Ram 1500 Night will be available in Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Brilliant Black, Flame Red, and Granite Crystal Metallic.

The Ram 1500 line of trucks come standard with heated high-back bucket seats with full center console, heated steering wheel, halogen projector headlamps, body color grille, front fascia, and 20-inch aluminum wheels with outlined white letter tires.

The production of the 2017 Ram Night begins in early fourth quarter 2016 at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant. The cost of the package will be announced closer to the sales date.
