Lineage Logistics of Novi today announced it has closed on its acquisition of New Jersey’s Preferred Freezer Services. The acquisition was first announced Feb. 25 and terms were not disclosed.
According to Lineage, the combined company now features the largest temperature-controlled facility network globally with more than 1.3 billion cubic feet and 37 million square feet of capacity. It has more than 200 facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia to support customer supply chain needs worldwide.
The combined enterprise has more than 800,000 automated pallet positions in 17 facilities, including the two largest automated temperature-controlled facilities in the world.
